All are equal and yet every human being, every animal, every plant and every cell is unique,
only when everything is in balance, can a harmonious life exist.
No matter whether one sees it regionally or world-wide!
On this world map, the Pacific Ocean is in the center, meant to make us aware of the need to seek a different perspective on life.
We should not be guided by power or greed, but rather the effort to find harmony and the respectful treatment of our planet, indicated by the different faces incorporated into the land surface.
The caligraphy in the 5 rings which stand for 5 continents is a mantra-like implication for society to ensure a better future.
Engaging with social media, each mosaic piece stands for new information, impressions and news.
In front of it a pictogram made of sensitive travertine, which must process all these inputs.
On the one hand fascinated and on the other hand overwhelmed.
How should we deal with it, when is it useful and when is it dangerous?
What if the writing of history had been female?
Imagine a love goddess instead of a bearded man.
What would this mean if women were now in power?
Would we have a more peaceful world, a more just world?

Two different individuals meet, represented through the means of the yellow head of a woman and the blue head of a man.
With this sculpture I want to represent an ideal.
As soon as these two characters face each other on an equal footing with respect and engage with each other, something new and better can arise:
A prudent whole!
Created in winter 19/20 in over 500 hours of work from largely recycled different types of stone, the individually manufactured feathers from a worn terrace are glued to the body and painted. The face and hands were cast and decorated with horn mosaic.
Papageno got old leather trousers and winter boots from me for his journey. As a floor I used a 12mm iron plate which is covered with artificial grass. In total he should weigh about 400 kg…probably the reason why he rests exhausted on one knee 😉 For me, this work was a matter of the heart, because this figure is looking for the most meaningful thing ever: Love!
Standing on a pedestal with artificial grass, this work was created after my visit to the Passion Play.
This sculpture is meant to convey through its simplicity that our society is subject to too many rules, which complicates everything unnecessarily!
The statement BE NICE should be completely sufficient to allow people to live together in love and respect.
In thinking about how to create a cross for a small parish like St. Severin, I remembered sitting in front of the crosses with the tortured body of Jesus, often intimidated.
I wanted to create a cross that would spread joy and be welcoming.
Furthermore, I tried to represent all the people in the community with their corners and edges stylized in the different colors and the not perfectly matched cladding parts of the cross.
Why “old traffic signs”? For me the church / community stands as a helping hand, and I did not want to create a golden show-off symbol but a modest symbol for a church / community which shines through you.
